Hmm.. got this blog inspiration from Matt's blog.. No offense.. Just personal opinion.. And Jacob.. No offense too..

10 reasons for Basketball not to be as weak as it is thought..

1. If you miss a shot in tennis, you can't just jump up, grab the ball, and try again. But the possibility for you to miss a shot is so hard.. Since you did mention that the court is so big..

2. When's the last time an NCAA basketball player had to make a shot with the sun in his eyes? The is because there isn't a indoor tennis court..

3. When a tennis player is seeing the ball incredibly well, he'll say it seems as big as a grapefruit. How big is a basketball? Comparing the racket hitting the ball and the rim hitting the ball.. which one got a higher chance to hit?

4. When you get tired in tennis, your coach can't just take you out and put someone else in your place. That is because tennis doesn't have a team when playing..

5. How often does a college basketball player have a perfectly good shot blown out of bounds by the wind? How heavy is a tennis ball considering the size... What is the weight to size ratio.. Considering the speed of the ball that it is moving.. Is there much chance for the ball to be blown?

6. If a basketball player places a shot a little longer than intended, no problem. There's a backboard to make the ball bounce in. No such luck in tennis. That is why professional basketball players doesn't rely on boards..

7. Grand Slam tennis matches commonly go more than three hours. When's the last time you saw a three-hour basketball game? Simply because you do not see a timekeeper in a tennis match.. It depends on the rules of the games.. and you forgot to compare the breaks in between the matches..

8. If you're not making your shots in basketball, you can just pass the ball to someone who is. No such convenience in tennis. Otherwise why you think they train teamwork for basketball??

9. Tennis players have to contend with a net running right across the middle of the court. I'd like to see how basketball players would cope. So I would like to see how a tennis player cope by running up and down the court so many round.. Instead of just running in the small rectangular area..

10. Tennis balls move at up to 145 m.p.h.. Basketballs top out at around 30. Tennis has the aid of a racket to help increasing the strength of the ball.. But basketball is purely using hands..

Overall, I do not mean that Tennis is not tough.. Just that it depends on the person playing the sports.. Once you get used to it.. you will not find it tough.. And.. we can't really compare 2 sports which are classified differently together.. Even though both are ball games.. But 1 with team, the other solo..

Compilation.. ||

Since there is nothing really much to blog about these few days.. I shall blog it in one shot from Monday..

On Monday, Terence came to my house AGAIN.. Well.. trying to redo some of the stuffs.. After that we went to Junction 8 and then to Orchard to collect his phone.. Hmm.. I wonder that is his which time visiting the service center.. Since we got nothing to do.. We walked from Orchard to Dhoby.. There.. suddenly got the craving for sushi and takoyaki.. So went to buy lor.. Eat finish then we also nothing to do again.. Go Arcade lor.. There also nothing to play.. Anyway.. I found out that I actually got 4000+ Tapz point... Can change a lot of things sia.. LOL..After that.. walked back to Somerset.. Went over to Centrepoint.. Had some coffee at the McCafe there.. Well.. As usual.. Large Mocchacino..

Went home after that while Terence head to SP to pass YL the Bday prezzie.. Happy Birdday to Yin Ling, The top terrorist... Nothing much happen later.. Thats for Monday..

Then Tuesday.. Morning wake up nothing to do.. Then lunch time.. Went out with Benson to have lunch.. This time.. Bishan.. We cycle to Bishan to had lunch.. Go back.. Nothing much.. played the time off.. Till receive Jamie's Sms of not being able to take her prezzies.. Well.. Sending it to her on Sat.. Continue playing till night time.. Nothing much happened..

Today.. Working day.. As usual.. Lazy bones asking questions.. Juz that today is more of labour intensive.. Arrange the paper product table.. Stacks of Copier papers, Lecture pads, Examination pads.. Manange to finish off at least.. Highlight for work today.. A customer.. Brought a bundle pack of pens.. Those selling at 25 pieces for $5.. He bought at last year... This year MARCH then bring back here to complain... say no ink.. Kns.. I doubt his tiny puny little brain can calculate how long he have kept the pen.. Complain still ok.. Still want to threaten say post it on internet and complain... Well.. All I can say... Go ahead.. Then.. Post on internet.. Still not enough.. Still wan to see our big boss.. Chairman of Popular.. Well go ahead if he wants to buy an air ticket and fly to HK to find him.. He say he want to find big boss and ask him to give a proper explaination.. otherwise he will file a lawsuit... The most riduculous part is here.. FOR A PEN WHICH COST $0.20 PER PIECE AND HE WANT TO FIND BIG BOSS AND FILE LAWSUIT.. what kind of nonsense is that?? Really 吃饱没事做...

Tomorrow.. Another working day.. Expect more funny stuff and more people who make a fool out of themselves in the public..

Everything was fine recently.. The only happening is my bro bought a Acer lappy from SP at student price.. Of coz.. using my name since he graduated liao.. Acer... Really a damn efficient company.. Lets see.. I send the order form via online on Friday morning.. around 12-1 am.. They called me on Friday night at around 8pm.. and telling me that they are delivering it on Saturday.. The whole process took less than 2 full days..
Anyway.. The specs are actually good for the price of 1.5k.. and it actually make me quite regretful for buying mine sia.. LOl.. but anyway.. already bought so cannot say much... Maybe buy new one after graduated from Poly ba.. LOL..
Life goes on with work, work and more work.. going to have a long break of 5 days soon.. look forward to have fun then.. LOL..
Miss a lot of people.. Miss crapping with them.. Miss studying with them.. and Miss shooting them =X

Out with my bro.. ||

Today went to watch "L change the world" with my bro.. The movie is quite crap.. and I know why it is not called Death Note 3... Coz the 2 death note were burnt at the start of the show.. Basically.. I would rather think that it should be called L's Final 23 days.. since it is all about the last 23 days of L.. LOL..

Walked over to Suntec after the show.. Went over to the IT show since today is the first day.. A lot of booth there and of coz.. a lot of people there.. Walked around the IT show.. but I'm not the one getting the lappy.. My bro is.. Dun think I can get a new lappy until I struck Toto.. lol.. Anyway... Quite happy with my lappy now.. even though it is giving me quite some problem..

Take a short nap after watching 100% entertainment.. Slept all the way till LS called me for game..

The last game before sleeping is fun.. since the ending part is bugged.. LS's enc is the only one who did not get freeze after the FT collapse.. This is what happened when there are survivors not freezed..

OMG!! Fountain on fire!!

Dying fountain!!

KABOOM!! GONE!!
Thats all for today.. Update more when I got more things to update.. =D

Down or Dead ||

Nothing special on work today.. but rather the recent trend been going around.. It seems that the only active blog I know now is Terence's.. Mostly down and lack of update.. There is one that officially announce DEAD.. which is kris's and the other one which is already DEAD (Jamie's blog) which she only tell me after like 2-3 days after I already know the link is gone..

Shouldn't holiday have more things to update? or everyone is just to busy with work or for some cases which like Benson's.. Spend his time aimlessly.. since the only few things he can do to waste time which is either play computer or go for NP training.. So poooooorrrrr thing..

This coming weekend is IT fair.. At Suntec Convention Centre.. going there to see see and look look... hope to find cheap memory stick M2.. best is 2GB below $45.. Lol.. since the last one I see is in the school's bazaar which is at $54.90 for 2GB..

Time passes really damn slow.. Hope school reopen soon.. Miss a lot of people sia.. Especially a few.. Miss the time crapping around and debating over trivial matters.. Well.. thats what makes life fun... But it seems that all the fun is no longer there.. The atmosphere changed.. and people do change.. Maybe I also did change just that I never notice.. It is hard to find the smiles on others...

Hoping everyone to be happy.. Hope that they can retrieve the lost smile on the face before school starts...

ChEErZ!
